Wire Wool
In this shoot I used long exposure to show my topic of movement. These images are of wire wool on fire being spun around. I took the images at an exposure time of 30 seconds. All images were taken on a tripod. This meant that as the wool was moving around the camera captured it as a continuous trail.
Some Images Are Not Shown As Intended In Thumb Nails
This is probably my favorite shoot I have done so far. I really like how the 30 second exposure shows the sparks flying away from the center. Ideally i would have liked to have been able to take more images but i ran out of wire wool quite quickly. Also if i use this technique in future i would like to practice it some more so i can add more dimensions to the images eg moving the wool in a figure of 8 or spinning around. Also if i do this again i would ask the person i have spinning the wool to wear black so you cannot see him in the background. I could also have used different exposure times to see what affect this would have on the images.
